Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Geodetic Engineer role based in the Philippines. The Geodetic Engineer will perform land and engineering surveys, including field measurements, control point establishment, and topographic mapping to support marine and civil infrastructure projects. The role involves operating surveying instruments, validating geospatial data, preparing survey reports, and collaborating with project engineers and construction teams to ensure accurate alignment and elevation control. The Geodetic Engineer will also assist in project planning by providing precise geodetic inputs, monitoring site conditions, and ensuring that all survey activities comply with safety standards and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Land Surveying and Surveying for infrastructure and construction projects.
- Proficiency in operating Total Station and related survey equipment.
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for geospatial data management and analysis.
- Background in Civil Engineering, with an understanding of construction methods and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Geodetic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Ability to interpret engineering plans, technical drawings, and survey data accurately.
- Competence in using survey and CAD software; familiarity with relevant geodetic standards and codes.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and capability to work effectively on-site in a multidisciplinary team.
- Professional license or eligibility for licensure in Geodetic or Civil Engineering is preferred.
