Qualifications:
A medical degree and a valid license to practice as a doctor in the Philippines.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry
Required to be equipped with an updated Basic Life Support Training and Basic Course in Occupational Medicine
Advances Cardiac Life Support training is an advantage
Strong clinical skills and the ability to make informed, evidence-based decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
Responsibilities:
Conducts clinic hours eight (8) hours a day from Monday to Friday
Provides customized medical care, diagnosis, and treatment for patients
Conducts thorough physical examinations and requests appropriate diagnostic tests
Develops and implements effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
Encodes detailed medical records in a timely manner
Provides subject matter expertise, implements, and evaluates strategies for occupational health, chronic lifestyle diseases and public health threats for the health protection and surveillance of employees (e.g. NCDs, COVID-19)
Contributes to the provision of advice, health surveillance, vaccinations, investigations of cases of occupational illnesses, and other general occupational or non-occupational health issues.
Provides post-APE discussion with employees who wish to discuss their results and those that have pertinent findings in their APE
Rotates as PEME or APE evaluator when the need arises
Participates in quality improvement sessions, root cause analysis, and regular clinic team meetings
Collaborates with other healthcare professionals & specialists to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
Stays up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices in your specialization
