The General Manager provides overall leadership for an assigned development by aligning business strategy, commercial objectives, and project execution. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet financial targets, respond to market opportunities, create exceptional customer experiences, and contribute to the Company's growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership
- Own the overall performance and success of the assigned project.
- Set the project's strategic direction and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

Project Strategy
- Lead project planning, positioning, and implementation from concept to completion.
- Recommend product offerings, development approaches, and project phasing based on market opportunities and business objectives.
- Balance customer needs, commercial goals, and operational requirements in key project decisions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance project value throughout its lifecycle.
Project Execution
- Provide overall leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.
- Resolve key issues affecting project delivery and business performance.
- Promote innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure a smooth transition from project completion to operations.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Manage the project's financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and profitability.
- Review major commercial decisions and investment recommendations.
- Monitor costs while maintaining quality and customer value.
- Ensure achievement of approved financial and business targets.
Market & Customer Focus
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Leasing, and Customer Experience teams to maximize project performance.
- Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to support business decisions.
- Champion initiatives that strengthen customer satisfaction and enhance the overall project experience.
- Build and maintain key relationships with clients and business partners.
Stakeholder Management
- Lead collaboration across Development, Design, Construction, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Procurement, Property Management, and other support teams.
- Represent the project in engagements with senior leadership, government agencies, consultants, investors, and business partners.
- Foster strong relationships that support successful project delivery.
People Leadership
- Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in real estate development, project management, or related industries.
- Proven experience leading large-scale residential, office, retail, hospitality, mixed-use, or township developments.
- Strong commercial, financial, and operational management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver business results.
