We're Hiring: General Manager (Manufacturing Plant)

About the Role

The General Manager (Manufacturing Plant) will oversee overall plant operations and ensure production targets, quality standards, financial goals, and compliance requirements are consistently achieved.

This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, operational management, and people management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Work Setup: Onsite

Schedule: Dayshift

Salary: 250k – 300k

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations including production, maintenance, warehouse, logistics, quality assurance, and administration

• Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production targets and business goals

• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and plant resources

• Monitor production schedules, output, downtime, and overall operational performance

• Implement cost control measures and drive operational efficiency initiatives

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and government regulations

• Enforce workplace safety, health, and environmental standards

• Lead quality control initiatives to maintain product standards and customer satisfaction

• Manage plant budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance

• Lead, coach, and evaluate departmental teams and managers

• Coordinate with procurement, sales, finance, and HR for smooth plant operations

• Prepare management reports on production, expenses, efficiency, and operational metrics

• Handle escalated operational issues and implement corrective actions promptly

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or a related field

• At least 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations

• At least 3–5 years of experience in a senior managerial role within manufacturing

• Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills

• Experience in production planning, quality systems, and maintenance operations

• Familiarity with OSHA, DOLE, DENR, and other regulatory compliance requirements

• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills

Good-to-Have

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing

• Six Sigma background or continuous improvement initiatives experience
