Job Description

Job Role:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies to optimise the club's performance and drive member satisfaction
  2. Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures
  3. Manage and lead a team of department heads and staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with club members, ensuring exceptional service and addressing any concerns or issues
  5. Collaborate with the Board of Directors to establish and implement the club's strategic vision and long-term goals
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  7. Represent the club at industry events and foster partnerships with key stakeholders

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the country club, hospitality, or leisure industry
  2. Proven track record of successfully managing all aspects of a country club or similar high-end facility
  3. Excellent financial management and budgeting skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data
  4. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate a dedicated team
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with members, staff, and stakeholders
  6. Thorough understanding of the country club industry, including trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements
  7. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
