TheGeneral Maintenance Staff & Storekeeperwill oversee the replacement parts inventory for company machines, equipment, building facilities, shop materials and consumables. Maintain orderly storage areas and accurate records, and purchase required parts and assemblies.May perform carpentry, masonry, plumbing and other works for building maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase requests
• Track, document, and resolve any discrepancies on received orders using company app/system/ software
• Ensure accuracy of the facilities inventory system by updating records of physical inventory, totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns using company app/ system/software.
• Manage and maintain inventory/supplies and ensure they are within the established minimum and maximum levels
• Keep up-to-date records of receipts, records, and withdrawals from the stockroom
• Responsible for packing, labeling, and returning supplie
• Responsible for stock rotation and coordinate the disposal of surpluses
• Oversee the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and minor repairs
• Maintain supplier relations and database as well as maintain high ethical relationships both internally and externally
• Create purchase requests and utilize purchasing card to perform low-value procurement activities
• Responsible shipping cancelled or damaged items back to suppliers as appropriate
• Oversees computerized parts catalog system and maintains a running inventory of regular and special-order parts and supplies
• Dispenses parts to service mechanics
• Identifies optimum sources for replacement parts and assemblies.
• Purchase standard items
• Receives and inspects incoming shipments for correct quantity and quality of materials
• Obtains quotes on major expenditures and obtains approval for nonroutine purchases
• Requisitions needed parts for replacement or repairs, or make its purchase as may required.
• Run errands/purchases materials needed.
• May perform plumbing, carpentry, masonry works for building maintenance or repair requirements as needed
• Performs other duties as may be required

Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate of Technical or corresponding vocational course
• Minimum of 3 years experience in building and equipment maintenance and repair
• With experience in manufacturing environment
