About the Role
We are seeking Cards and Payments Consulting professionals to deliver across strategy and operational execution at Philippine client banks. The scope spans Customer Value Proposition (CVP) design, go-to-market strategy, and operational process mapping — consultants must be capable of operating across both advisory and delivery modes. Profiles are required across multiple seniority grades from Big 4 Senior Consultant through Director-equivalent, with knowledge of the Philippine payments ecosystem being a strong differentiator.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and articulate customer value propositions and cards/payments strategies for Philippine client banks and their target customer segments
- Map, assess, and optimize operational processes across cards product and payment delivery functions
- Support loyalty and rewards program design and market-targeting initiatives aligned to the Philippine market
- Deliver strategic recommendations and hands-on execution support calibrated to the seniority level of the engagement
Must-Haves
- Consulting background in cards and payments spanning both strategy and operational delivery
- Scheme and payments domain knowledge; Mastercard preferred, Visa or Amex backgrounds considered
- Working knowledge of Philippine domestic payment rails — InstaPay and PESONet
- Consulting pedigree appropriate to the applied seniority tier — Big 4, global scheme, or specialist boutique background
- English proficiency
Nice-to-Haves
- Prior advisory experience with Philippine banks on card propositions, CVP, or digital payments strategy
- Familiarity with BSP regulatory requirements and the Philippine financial services landscape
- Understanding of local consumer behaviour and competitive dynamics in Philippine retail banking
