Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial accounting functions for assigned entities, including General, Receivables, Inventory, Revenue, and Asset Accounting
  • Ensure the accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
  • Oversee the timely and proper closing of financial books at the end of each reporting period.
  • Analyze business needs related to financial reporting, recommending updates to financial master data as necessary.
  • Ensure that robust accounting controls are in place and recommend improvements where applicable.
  • Maintain the asset master data within the financial system.
  • Review bank reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and supporting documentation to verify validity and accuracy.
  • Assist in the smooth and timely completion of interim and annual audits.
  • Support the monthly consolidation process and prepare consolidated financial reports, including intercompany transactions asneeded.
  • Collaborate with other business functions to provide essential financial support.
  • Prepare accurate and timely periodic and ad-hoc analyses and reports to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee activities to proactively address revenue leakage and minimize the risk of fraud.
  • Assist in the development and communication of General Accounting policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on new accounting standards.
  • Conduct performance appraisals for team members as scheduled, recommending actions based on established practices.
  • Supervise team performance, providing clear direction, regular feedback, and fostering ongoing learning and development.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested related to Real Estate Ancillary Services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related businesscourse.
  • Must be a CPA; relevant certification may be required for job performance.
  • At least 7 years of relevant professional experience,including a minimum of 3 year in a supervisory role ingeneral accounting.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting processes, and controlprinciples, with the ability to analyze complex financial dataand prepare financial reports.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other accounting software ispreferred.
  • Well-versed in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet applications and other office software, such as PowerPoint, for report preparation andcorporate presentations.
  • Must be open to report in Tinio Mandaluyong City. Opportunity for a hybrid setup.
