Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with solid knowledge of taxation, general accounting, ERP systems, and General Ledger (GL) functions. A CPA license is an advantage but not required.

The Accounting Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting tax compliance, preparing accounting reports, and ensuring that transactions are properly recorded and reconciled in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor General Ledger (GL) accounts and ensure accurate and timely recording of accounting transactions.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure proper recording, classification, and documentation of income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
• Prepare and assist with tax computations, filings, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor tax-related transactions and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and deadlines.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other assigned accounts.
• Process and review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting transactions as needed.
• Utilize the company's ERP system for accounting transactions, reporting, and financial data management.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances.
• Maintain organized and complete accounting records and supporting documents.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested schedules, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve accounting and billing-related concerns.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with exposure to taxation, general accounting, and General Ledger functions.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of taxation and tax compliance requirements.
• Experience using an ERP system for accounting and financial transactions.
• Knowledge of basic to intermediate accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• CPA license is an advantage but not required.
