General Accounting Manager

The General Accounting Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing Accounting Officers/Associates under the General Accounting Section. The main task is to ensure accurate GL & sub-ledger account balances, timely period end close of the book of accounts, completeness of Major BS and IS Schedules & Analysis, and compliance with Tax Regulations.

The General Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing general ledger activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and the accurate recording of financial transactions to ensure timely and compliant month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.

The role also supervises fixed asset accounting, financial reporting, budget variance analysis, audit support, tax-related reviews, and process improvements while leading and developing the accounting team to achieve performance goals and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Strong technical accounting background.
• At least five years general ledger accounting experience is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization
• Oracle financial application experience preferred
