General Accounting Assistant Manager - Tax & Compliance

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages tax and government compliance (except environmental compliance, labor or manpower-related functions)
• Responsible for financial reporting compliance
• Performs basic supervisory functions for the team (organizes, coaches, delegates, supports and motivates). Manage staff functions and develop team skills to deliver optimum results and attainment of departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, must be CPA (REQUIRED)
• At least 3-5 years experience in related job assignment (accounting and taxation); advantage with Accounting and Taxation training
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, practices, and standards
• Knowledge of Internal Control principles and local taxation
• Strong technical accounting background
• Knowledge of computerized accounting systems and applications
• BIR and any tax assessment experience

starting salary of 65,000 per month and subject to negotiations depending upon the qualifications
