Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented General Accountant (RTR) to join our Global Shared Services team. This role is responsible for executing end-to-end Record-to-Report processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid accounting foundation, and experience working in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
- Prepare financial reports and support statutory reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards
- Coordinate with regional and global teams for reporting and reconciliation requirements
- Support internal and external audits
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support automation initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA license is an advantage but not required
- At least 2–4 years of experience in General Accounting or RTR functions
- Experience in a shared services or multinational company is preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
- Experience with process transitions or migrations
- Continuous improvement mindset and problem-solving skills
