Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant (Record-to-Report) to manage core accounting processes and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role plays a key part in month-end closing, account reconciliations, and maintaining the integrity of financial data. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- Analyze financial data and provide insights on variances
- Identify and recommend process improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA license is an advantage but not required
- At least 2–3 years of experience in general accounting or RTR functions
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems/ERP tools
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Good communication and organizational abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in shared services or multinational environment
- Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
