Job Responsibilities

The General Accountant handles and assists the Accounting Supervisor with the timely and accurate preparation of financial report that is in accordance with applicable accounting policies and standards.
Understands basic casino bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Handles and monitors casino receivables and payables on timely manner.
Prepares and coordinates timely filing and payment of the monthly gaming taxes and fees.
Processes and posts daily and monthly journal entries into the accounting system and ensures that all transactions are recorded appropriately.
Assists in the preparation monthly reconciliations of P&L and BS key accounts.
Periodic review of accounting controls and processes.
Analyzes, manages and reconciles accounting reports against gaming records and documents.
Safekeeps accounting records and reports.
Performs other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Experience with accounting software (eg. SAP and Sun system).
Strong Microsoft Excel Skills.
Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
