Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site General Accountant role based in Iloilo. The General Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities will also include managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. The General Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial health and accuracy of MySchool's operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes
• Strong skills in financial reporting, budget preparation, and account reconciliation
• Experience with accounting software and tools, as well as advanced knowledge of Excel
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification is a plus
• High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive financial data
• Familiarity with local financial regulations and tax policies in the Philippines is preferred
