Job Description
- Post and validate general ledger transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and customer-related funds, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Generate balance sheet schedules and ensure timely submission aligned with reporting deadlines.
- Issue invoices and manage recharges according to agreed timelines and pricing structures.
- Monitor and process remittances, ensuring adherence to credit terms and accuracy.
- Prepare payment instructions for approved expenses and manage intercompany settlements.
- Reconcile employee and seafarer benefits in compliance with government requirements.
- Maintain organized financial documentation for audit readiness and accessibility.
- Assist in cash flow forecasting and support annual audits with required documentation.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting, ideally within shipping or manning operations.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to meet strict deadlines, and proficiency in financial systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Advanced Excel skills and process-driven approach are advantageous.
