We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable General Accountant to join our team in the Philippines. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end accounting functions, ensure statutory compliance, and prepare accurate financial reports, supporting effective decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting transactions: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger entries
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records
- Communicate financial reporting to management clearly and in a timely manner to support decision-making
- Manage payroll processing and employee reimbursements
- Coordinate with banks for transactions, reconciliations, and funding requirements
- Support internal and external audits
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing for compliance
- Monitor working capital and ensure timely vendor and statutory payments
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with BIR, LGU permits, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, SEC, PEZA
- Collaborate with HR, Admin, and Operations for finance-related processes
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of solid accounting experience
- Knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll, and Philippine tax laws
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/systems
- Ability to communicate financial reporting clearly and timely to management
- High accuracy and trustworthiness in handling financial data
- Ability to interpret financial data, assist in budgeting, and support forecasting
