Job Description
General Accountant
Hybrid/Onsite | Full-time
What You'll Do
General Accounting
- Own full-cycle bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliations for a hosting facility services business
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Manage AP/AR, billing, and collections
- Handle BIR tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance
- Support annual audits and AFS preparation
Project Accounting
- Track project costs, billings, and percentage-of-completion (POC) for construction/fitout projects
- Monitor budgets vs. actuals and flag variances to Project Managers
- Prepare progress billings and support project closeout accounting
Treasury Support
- Assist with cash positioning and funding reports
- Prepare disbursement vouchers and support intercompany fund transfers
- Help track loan facilities and bank documentation
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus, not required)
- 3–5 years of accounting experience; exposure to both corporate and construction/project accounting preferred
- Working knowledge of BIR tax compliance and Philippine statutory reporting
- Familiarity with POC accounting is an advantage
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Treasury/cash management exposure is a strong plus
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities across entities
