Job Title: GCP Data Engineer with Terraform

Location: PAN India (Hybrid)

Shift Timing: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM IST

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced GCP Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Terraform to join our growing data engineering team. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with proven experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in Data Engineering and Cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services:
• BigQuery
• Cloud Storage
• Dataflow
• Dataproc
• Pub/Sub
• Cloud Composer
• Cloud Functions
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
• Strong SQL and data warehousing experience.
• Expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline development and optimization.
• Experience with Python and scripting for data engineering tasks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and cloud networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and processing frameworks.
• Develop data models and data warehousing solutions using BigQuery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Analysts, and Cloud Architects.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance of data platforms.
• Implement best practices for data quality, security, and governance.
• Support CI/CD automation and infrastructure deployment processes.
