What is your missionWe are looking for aGame Testerto design and execute test plans for mobile and web applications, including gaming apps. You'll perform manual and API testing, validate backend data, troubleshoot issues using cloud platforms and proxy tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure high-quality releases and exceptional user experiences.
You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:
- Design, develop, and executetest plans, cases, and scenariosfor mobile and web applications.
- Performregression, sanity, smoke, exploratory, functional, end-to-end, and stress testing.
- ConductAPI testingand validate backend data using SQL or Java.
- Usetest management and defect tracking toolsfor documentation and reporting.
- Monitor logs and troubleshoot issues usingcloud platforms and proxy tools.
- Participate inAgile development processes(sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Communicate effectively withcross-functional teams(developers, business analysts, clients).
- Reviewcustomer support issues via Zendeskand perform exploratory testing around live issues.
- Testmobile and gaming apps, including sideloading builds and retrieving logs from devices.
- Provide creative feedback to improve gaming experiences.
- Lead or mentor junior QA team members.
Who are we looking for- Bachelor's degreein IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of QA experiencewith mobile or PC game testing and manual testing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge ofSQL or Javafor backend validation and experience withAPI testing tools(Postman, SoapUI).
- Proficiency inmobile device testing(iOS & Android), including sideloading builds and retrieving logs.
- Familiarity withCI/CD tools(GitHub),test management tools(Jira, Azure DevOps), andcloud platforms(AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience withCharles Proxyfor log monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Ability to performexploratory, regression, smoke, functional, and stress testingin Agile environments.
- Certifications insoftware testing or Agileand experience intest automation scripting(Python, Java, C#) are a plus.
- Excellentcommunication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; regular gamer preferred.
