Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor gaming transactions and activities to detect suspicious behavior and potential fraud.
  • Investigate and analyze suspected fraudulent activities, including chargebacks, account takeovers, and unauthorized purchases.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent fraud and mitigate risk while ensuring minimal impact on legitimate users experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Support, Product Development, and Legal, to address fraud-related issues effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in fraud detection and risk management.
  • Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to identify patterns and anomalies indicative of fraudulent activity.
  • Conduct regular reviews of existing fraud prevention measures and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Maintain documentation of fraud incidents, investigations, and mitigation efforts for reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on fraud prevention best practices and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of fraud prevention policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in fraud detection, risk management, or a related field, preferably within the gaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of gaming platforms, virtual currencies, and online payment systems.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, or data visualization software.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Certification in fraud examination or risk management (e.g., Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Risk Management Professional) is a plus.
