The Furniture Assembler is responsible for assembling, installing, and inspecting furniture pieces to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role involves interpreting assembly instructions, using hand and power tools, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks while maintaining safety and cleanliness in the work area.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and work orders.
- Assemble furniture products such as chairs, tables, cabinets, and upholstered items.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
- Inspect finished products for defects, damages, or missing parts.
- Ensure all components are securely and properly fitted.
- Follow company standards and quality control procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving furniture parts as needed.
- Report any material shortages, damages, or production issues to supervisors.
