We are looking for an experienced Mortgage Funder to support our US mortgage client. The ideal candidate will manage the full closing and funding process, ensure accuracy and compliance of all loan packages, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and successful closings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the closing and funding process for the mortgage loan portfolio.
- Ensure all loan documentation and funding requirements are met accurately and within required timelines.
- Work closely with underwriters, loan officers, title companies, and other third-party partners to ensure all conditions are cleared for funding.
- Prepare loan documents and funding packages accurately and efficiently.
- Review final closing and funding packages to ensure accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with investors, custodians, and other entities to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of loan packages.
- Communicate with borrowers and third-party service providers to resolve any issues related to closing and funding.
- Document all closing and funding activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and guidelines.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years experience as a Mortgage Funder, Closer, or similar US mortgage role.
- Strong proficiency in Encompass.
- Solid understanding of FHA, VA, Conventional, and Jumbo loans.
- Knowledge of Closing Disclosures, wire instructions, funding conditions, and compliance guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with strict timelines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work US business hours.
- Stable internet connection; own equipment or willingness to secure one.
