About The Team & Business Line

Fund Administration is Citco's core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the most respected industries. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver seamless client experience.

As a core member of our Private Equity SPV team, you will be working with some of the industry's most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Your Role

  • Perform overall leadership and coaching of staff including Managers, Supervisors and their direct reports.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the teams and provide support and guidance in accomplishing department goals
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly/quarterly reporting package, working papers and financial statement preparation with an adherence to relevant accounting standards
  • Maintain and control the general ledger and various sub-ledgers.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes and partner capital statements
  • Prepare and review limited partner and general partner allocations
  • Prepare and review trial balances and work paper product
  • Review capital activity that pertains to the funds including capital calls, distributions, rebalances and transfers
  • Prepare and review fee calculations including (but not limited to) management fees, admin fees, waterfall clawback, and carried interest calculations
  • Manage and monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables, overall responsibility for client relationships and meetings
  • Interact with senior management and manage overall relationships for multiple clients; provide technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients
  • Lead the preparation of client service plans including annual budget; establish plan for new client setup and transitions
  • Coordinate with Operations group, Financial Statement group, Tax group and Investor Relations group
  • Coordinate, manage and monitor external audit process
  • Review private equity fund client's partnership agreements, PPM's and other materials
  • In charge of implementation of fund structures on accounting system
  • Coach, develop, train staff and continue to build out our infrastructure
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as needed
  • Review trading and operations processes for the Company's private equity division

About You

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, any other professional accounting qualification (i.e. CA, CPA or ACCA or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 8+ years experience in accounting for the financial services sector, particularly Private Equity, Asset Management or Fund Administration.
  • Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 6+ years.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and / or USGAAP
  • Experienced in reviewing and preparing general ledger and financial statements.
  • Established knowledge in relation to accounting and consolidations under IFRS.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
  • Motivated, bright and diligent individual who is driven to meet deadlines.
  • A team player who is able to manage individual responsibilities.
  • Good client/ business relationship management
  • Sound judgment, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).
  • User experience with enterprise accounting system(s).
  • Working knowledge of Investran highly desirable
  • Experience in Limited Partnership accounting
  • Private equity/real estate fund experience. Exposure to complex fund structure, waterfall computation, preferred return.
  • Amenable to working in our Alabang Office (Filinvest 2 Bldg., Northgate Cyber Zone, Filinvest City, Alabang Muntinlupa City).
  • Amenable to working under Hybrid work arrangements (3 days onsite per week)
  • Amenable to working on shifting schedules (AM or Mid-shift)
