Job Description
Assistant Vice President – Fund Services
Private Equity / Hedge Funds
Role Overview
Lead fund accounting and administration activities, ensuring accurate NAV, financial reporting, investor allocations, and client service while supervising junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee fund books and records, NAV calculations, and financial statements.
- Review capital calls, distributions, equalizations, investor allocations, and partner capital accounts.
- Review carried interest, performance, and incentive fee calculations.
- Supervise and review the work of junior team members.
- Serve as a key day-to-day contact for clients, investors, investment managers, auditors, and other fund participants.
- Coordinate investor queries, notices, and capital activity with Investor Relations.
- Ensure compliance with client agreements and SLAs.
- Support audits, client presentations, and business/project initiatives.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of fund accounting experience within Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Asset Management, or Fund Administration.
- CPA, CA, ACCA, Master's Degree in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP, general ledger, financial statements, and fund accounting.
- Private Equity/Real Estate experience with exposure to complex fund structures, waterfalls, and preferred returns highly preferred.
- At least 3 years of supervisory/team leadership experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Investran is highly desirable.
- Amenable to Alabang/Makati, hybrid setup (3 days onsite/week), and AM or mid-shift schedules.
