Key Responsibilities

As a Fund Accounting Manager (Technical), you will be responsible for the following:

Work Allocation

  • Review Premium/Tier 1 or complex NAV calculations per Conductor scheduling tool.

Issue Resolution & Escalation

  • Act as the third escalation point for complex technical issues raised by the Manager, escalating further to the Technical Team where appropriate.
  • Assist with the onboarding of complex funds.
  • Identify recurring NAV issues and work with the Manager to propose solutions.
  • Train Fund Accountants, Senior Fund Accountants and Manager based on review findings.

A Little Bit About You

  • You have a bachelor's degree in a relevant business field such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
  • 6+ years of experience in fund accounting or fund administration, ideally with exposure to hedge funds, private equity, real estate, or other alternative investments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in NAV calculations, fee and expense accruals, investor allocations, and waterfall or carried interest methodologies (as applicable).
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, offering documents, LPAs, side letters, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, competing deadlines, and monthly/quarterly/year-end deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and client service skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead or contribute to process improvement, automation initiatives, and system implementations.
  • High level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
