Unlock Your Potential!

At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients across the accounting, finance, and professional services industries.

We are seeking an analytical and detail-obsessed Fund Accountant to join our elite shared services division, directly supporting a highly respected Australian professional services firm. Reporting directly to the Funds Administration Manager, you will play a critical role in providing specialist financial and taxation reporting for a sophisticated portfolio of Managed Investment Schemes (MIS). Operating directly out of our modern Manila facility, you will own everything from net asset value calculations and unit registry administration to statutory quarterly filings. This role is perfectly engineered for a process-driven accounting professional eager to master the intricacies of global fund administration and scale into future leadership positions.

Your Impact

  • Fund Accounting & Asset Pricing: Prepare, maintain, and balance comprehensive accounting records and management reports for assigned Managed Investment Schemes. Price funds dynamically in strict accordance with defined compliance parameters and portfolio timelines.
  • Unit Registry Administration: Process sophisticated investor transactions for new and existing shareholders-including high-value applications, capital redemptions, and off-market asset transfers. Generate and issue accurate periodic statements to investors.
  • Quality Assurance & Risk Detection: Conduct thorough peer reviews of transactions processed by junior team members. Identify, isolate, and resolve ledger errors, data synchronization issues, or procedural risks early to ensure reports require minimal management revision.
  • Taxation & Statutory Reporting: Formulate, validate, and lodge critical quarterly fund reporting packages and compliance requirements directly with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
  • Investor Relations: Act as a reliable technical point of contact, resolving complex inquiries from institutional investors, fund managers, and onshore partners with clarity and professionalism.
  • Process Optimization & Tech Testing: Review existing guidelines to identify workflow bottlenecks, contributing directly to system testing, automation enhancements, and the development of scalable operational procedures.
  • Team Elevation: Support the overall growth of the division by conducting peer training sessions, mentoring junior administration staff, and delivering on specialized ad-hoc investment projects.

What You Bring

  • The Experience:Proven corporate experience specializing in fund accounting, investment administration, or high-volume asset valuation workflows. Exposure to Australian financial markets or public practice accounting standards is a distinct advantage.
  • Technical Accounting Acumen: A robust understanding of double-entry ledger mechanics, pricing methodologies, distribution calculations, and investment-specific tax rules.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: A natural aptitude for untangling complex data integrations, investigating ledger variances, and auditing transactional entries across registry platforms.
  • Uncompromising Attention to Detail: An exceptional focus on numerical accuracy and compliance rules, ensuring flawless data management across critical investor portfolios.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills, with the personal confidence to coordinate seamlessly with onshore managers and international fund stakeholders.
  • Leadership Aspirations: A proactive, self-motivated career mindset with a genuine desire to step into team leadership, process ownership, or management positions over time.
  • The Credentials: A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related commercial discipline with strong professional alignment.
