Fund Accountant

iSupport Worldwide is hiring a Fund Admin Accountant to support a U.S.-based client specializing in private equity and real estate investments. This role will be responsible for fund-level accounting, investor operations, and financial reporting across single-asset syndications and multi-asset fund structures. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, systems-driven, and experienced in investor-facing accounting work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fund-level accounting for private equity and/or real estate investment funds
• Manage capital contributions, redemptions, and investor distributions
• Track and reconcile fund cash flows and operating expenses
• Prepare and maintain fund accounting records using QuickBooks Online or equivalent
• Draft, review, and audit distribution and waterfall models
• Support preferred return, catch-up, promote, and waterfall calculations
• Use investor platforms such as InvestNext and/or AppFolio Investment Manager (AIM)
• Validate platform outputs through Excel tie-outs and audit checks
• Prepare accurate, client-ready investor and fund reporting
• Collaborate closely with U.S.-based teams in a fast-paced, accuracy-critical environment

Required Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in fund accounting, syndication accounting, or private equity/real estate accounting
• Direct hands-on experience supporting private equity and/or real estate investment funds
• Experience with single-asset syndications and multi-asset fund structures
• Strong working knowledge of investor operations and fund-level accounting
• Required experience with InvestNext and/or AppFolio Investment Manager (AIM)
• Experience using QuickBooks Online or a similar general ledger system
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, particularly in auditing models and validating calculations
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and low tolerance for errors
• Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication

Nice to Have

• CPA or other accounting/fund-related certifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (relevant experience may substitute)
