Company Description:
Arc70 is an investment management firm focused on financing affordable housing across the U.S. The Firm has financed the preservation or creation of over 38,000 units of affordable housing since inception. Arc70 manages over $3.8 billion dollars of affordable housing related investments and works with notable and sophisticated long-term investors.
The Role:
Fund Accountant with a growing private credit investment firm based out of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Responsibilities:
- Process and track daily cash transactions for private credit investment funds
- Book, review, prepare, and reconcile cash transactions, accrual entries, management fees, and other accounting entries input
- Assist with the preparation of the fund financials
- Demonstrate ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and complete work with direction and support;
- Exhibit time-management skills by developing and executing specific goals in an agreed upon timeframe;
- Obtain approval on correcting discrepancies and missing information;
- Prepare cash journal entries and produce NAV packages on assigned Funds
- Participate in quarterly and annual reporting and audit functions
- Ad hoc accounting tasks as necessary
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA candidateship or certificate is encouraged
- Detail-oriented and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a small company environment with many different types of tasks
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Familiarity with private fund investment vehicles, ideally private credit
