As a
Senior Fund Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the administration of Managed Investment Schemes. Working collaboratively with the Funds Administration leadership team, you will ensure that financial and taxation reporting meets the highest standards of accuracy and regulatory compliance. This role is designed for a technical expert with a keen eye for risk management and a desire to transition into team leadership. You will be the engine that drives process consistency, ensuring that deliverables are achieved with minimal review and maximum reliability.
Your Impact
- Specialist Fund Reporting: Provide high-level financial and taxation reporting specifically tailored to Managed Investment Schemes, ensuring all data is compliant with industry-specific regulations.
- Technical Accuracy: Apply advanced accounting principles to ensure the preparation of financial information is both accurate and timely, fostering total management confidence in your reports.
- Risk & Quality Oversight: Proactively identify and notify management of any errors, potential errors, or risks identified during your own workflows or while reviewing the work of others.
- Deadline & Task Management: Maintain a rigorous track record of meeting deadlines and completing assigned tasks within a high-pressure, collaborative environment.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the Funds Administration team and other internal departments to define, adhere to, and improve organizational processes.
- Leadership Development: Provide clear communication and mentorship to team members, supporting the Supervisor and Manager in achieving the highest possible service standards.
What You Bring
- The Experience: 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in fund accounting or highly comparable specialized accounting roles.
- The Credentials: Professional accounting qualifications (CPA or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance).
- Technical Mastery: A strong understanding of the financial and taxation reporting requirements unique to managed funds and investment schemes.
- Leadership Aspirations: A desire to move into team leadership and management. You are a professional who leads by example and values team development.
- Operational Discipline: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage complex, multi-layered financial data without compromising on speed or quality.
