DITO Telecommunity is looking for a Functionality Manager/Platform Product Owner/Project Manager to join the Digital Business Team.
This role will be involved in the delivery of projects for digital channels - from conceptualization until post-launch, mainly on the gathering, analysis, and documentation of business requirements.
Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator bridging the gap between business and IT teams establishing an aligned understanding of both business needs and technical concepts.
FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define platform strategy and positioning. Work with stakeholders to create and manage platform roadmap and project prioritization.
- Define new product features and enhancements to improve platform usage, engagement, and purchase transactions conversion.
- Work with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements to support project goal and business objectives.
- Collaborate with teams to review customer journey and UI/UX designs to ensure customer-centric implementation of requirements for digital channels.
- Ability to translate business requirements into precise and clear written specifications in various formats: use cases, user stories, configuration/change requests.
- Coordinate with IT to communicate requirements, review and approve solutions, verify accuracy and completeness of developed functionalities based on agreed scope.
- Participate in testing activities such as test case/defects review, UAT, PPT, beta testing.
- Others: Regular reporting, create training materials, conduct demos, maintain documentations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or any related field
- At least 35+ years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, or Business Analysis, preferably in digital platforms or telco/tech environments
- Strong experience in end-to-end project delivery (from conceptualization to post-launch support)
- Proven ability in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation (e.g., BRD, FSD, user stories, use cases)
- Experience in platform/product roadmap planning and prioritization
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies
- Experience working with UI/UX teams and understanding of customer journey mapping
- Ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications
- Exposure to UAT, QA testing, defect management, and release cycles
