Primary objective

As a Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) Business Applications Specialist you will support the Solution Architects on implementing the functional design and solution of customer business value outcomes. In this role, you incorporate your functional skills with business acumen and stakeholder management skills. You'll be curious to learn new ways of solving client problems, been successful in delivering D365 F&O ERP projects and be a reasonable communicator. You'll be a strong team player who can partner with our clients throughout the whole project lifecycle, to deliver excellent outcomes; synonymous with the Barhead brand.

Responsibilities

• At least 3 years Functional Consulting(Finance or SCM) experience with Microsoft AX 2012 or AX 2009 or D365 F&O solutions, including having configured, documented, tested AX or D365 F&O applications
• Demonstrable knowledge in business practices especially key accounting business processes. A bonus if you also have experience with supply chain business processes
• Learn and practive, before deploying new modules and extensions in D365 F&O
• Write functional requirements specifications based on business requirements
• Learn / work on technologies linked to D365 F&O such as Power Platform including D365 F&O Entity Store, D365 F&O Electronic Reporting, SSRS reports Power Apps, Power BI and other components of the MSFT ecosystem
• Some knowledge of the D365 F&O Application Lifecycle Management
• Implementation and Configuration Process
• Support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• User Training
• Lifecycle Services
• Support upgrades from AX 2012 to D365 F&O
• Support Data migration experience from a business knowledge perspective
• Liaising with Technical Consultants and Solution Architects to determine the optimal technical pathway to achieve client business outcomes
• Experience working as part of a Project Team delivering implementation projects utilising a hybrid combination of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Possess strong individual time management skills
• Willingness to step in and adopt a hands-on approach to assist the project team when required
• Solution orientated thinking to be able to work with project teams to determine solutions to problems
• Translate and simplify functional requirements and align them to D365 F&O and best practices

Key Skills/Competencies

• Previous experience working on complex D365 F&O, AX 2012 or AX 2009 implementation projects, working with multiple business and functional stakeholders both within your team and the client
• Previous experience working for a Microsoft D365 F&O Consulting firm or System Integrator
• Demonstrated experience working with cloud technologies
• Demonstrated experience working with D365 F&O or on-premise AX 2009 or AX 2012 solutions.
