Position Overview:As an Electrical Engineer at Bizforce, you will play a pivotal role in designing electrical systems for a diverse range of projects, including new construction, tenant improvements, and renovations. These projects span various sectors, such as retail, custom homes, multi-family dwellings, hospitality facilities, municipal facilities, medical offices, surgical centers, hospitals, and mixed-use developments. Your primary responsibilities will encompass the production and coordination of electrical drawings and systems, ensuring they align with the client's design criteria. This includes Lighting, Power, Systems Design, Emergency Power Distribution, Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Life Safety Code Analysis and Design, Communication Systems, Fault Current Study/Analysis, and Photometrics.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce Comprehensive Electrical Designs: Collaborate closely with the electrical engineering team to create detailed electrical drawings and documentation that meet project requirements
- Client-Centric Approach: Work in partnership with project stakeholders to thoroughly grasp and fulfill client design criteria, ensuring client satisfaction
- Expertise Across Electrical Systems: Leverage your expertise in Lighting, Power, Systems Design, Emergency Power Distribution, Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Life Safety Code Analysis and Design, Communication Systems, Fault Current Study/Analysis, and Photometrics to deliver high-quality solutions
- Active Participation: Engage in virtual meetings, providing valuable input and production support as necessary, contributing to project success
- Review and Response: Address reviewer comments, review submittals, and promptly respond to Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring project progression
- Seamless Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with diverse team members, clients, partners, contractors, and sub-contractors within our virtual work environment, fostering strong working relationships
Requirements- Educational Background: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited institution of higher learning
- Licensed: Must be licensed Engineer
- Technical Proficiency: Exhibit proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), enabling efficient project execution
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, contributing to innovative and effective solutions
- Virtual Team Player: Showcase your ability to work collaboratively in a virtual team environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork
- US Project Experience: Preference for candidates with US project experience, particularly in the Florida region, where relevant knowledge can enhance project outcomes
