This SOC Analyst role is 100% remote. Analysts are expected to be available and responsive during assigned shifts, with some flexibility around working hours. Employees must maintain a secure work environment and prevent data exfiltration through cameras, bystanders, or insecure networks.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time SOC Analyst to support our 24/7 security monitoring service. This role focuses on receiving and triaging alerts through Kibana and Grafana dashboards, with Elasticsearch as the backend. You may also contribute to other cybersecurity services and projects while maintaining security monitoring as your primary focus.

Primary Responsibilities

- Monitor and triage SOC/NOC alerts.

- Investigate security events and escalate findings appropriately.

- Use cybersecurity monitoring and analysis tools to support daily operations.

Secondary Responsibilities & Growth Opportunities

You are not expected to be skilled in every area below. This role provides opportunities to learn and grow across multiple security domains:

- Vulnerability detection and management

- Application security and secure code review

- Risk assessments and security auditing

- Network mapping and documentation

- Security engineering and cybersecurity-software configuration

- Security detection-rule writing, including YARA, STAR, YAML, and Sigma

- Security, monitoring & infrastructure: Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, SentinelOne, Zscaler, Mimecast, Suricata ETPro, Nessus Expert, Nmap, Wireshark, Meraki, Auvik, NinjaOne, Halo PSA, and n8n

- Additional platforms: Python, PowerShell, Bash, Docker, VMware ESXi, Xen, Microsoft Azure, Ubuntu Linux, Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Notion, and Slack

Schedule

All hours are in Philippines Time. This full-time role follows an alternating two-week schedule.

Standard shift: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Alternate shift if needed: 1:00 PM- 10:00 PM (Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun)

Standard Shift A: (Approx 80% of the weeks)

- Monday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

- Tuesday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

- Wednesday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

- Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

- Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Alternate Shift B: (Approx 10% of the weeks)

- Monday: 1:00 PM–10:00 PM
