Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and professional
Virtual Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This is a
full-time, permanent, work-from-home role. The successful candidate will provide high-quality virtual support to our dental practice, help ensure excellent patient experiences, and strictly follow HIPAA confidentiality standards.
Fresh graduates of Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) programs are strongly encouraged to apply, especially those eager to gain practical experience in a virtual dental environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Virtually welcome patients and collect essential information
- Respond to patient questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner
- Manage appointment scheduling and handle phone calls
- Build and maintain positive relationships with dentists, patients, and clinic staff
- Organize patient records and prepare/send reports
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as required by the client
Qualifications
- College graduate; fresh DDM or DDS graduates are highly encouraged to apply
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; friendly, professional, and patient-focused
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt quickly to new processes
- Comfortable using technology and computer systems
- Own a personal computer and have a quiet, organized home workspace
Minimum Technical Requirements
- Intel i5 (10th Gen) or equivalent Ryzen processor
- At least 8GB RAM (16GB preferred)
- Dual-monitor setup
- 1080p webcam (e.g., A4 Tech PK-910H)
- Noise-canceling headset (e.g., Logitech H390)
- Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
- Fast and reliable internet connection (backup connection preferred)
- Clean white background and a noise-free environment
Training Program (1 Month)
- Introduction to dental terminology and workflows
- Communication and patient-handling skills enhancement
- Hands-on training with clinic-specific software
- Night differential pay and internet allowance provided during training
Work Schedule
- 12:00 PM 9:00 AM (Philippine Time)
- 9-hour shift with a 1-hour break
- Permanent, full-time, remote work setup
