Join Our Team as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer
About the role:
We're looking for a Senior FullStack Engineer to serve as the technical lead and quality gate for a complex software platform. You'll join a team of experienced engineers building features in parallel using AIassisted development tools. Pull requests come fast — your role is to ensure every feature is correct, secure, and architecturally sound.
You'll set the engineering quality standard and play a pivotal part in guiding the platform's technical direction. If you take pride in ownership, precision, and helping teams deliver highquality products, this role offers an opportunity to lead both handson and strategically.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the application infrastructure, including validation suites, data isolation tests, and systemlevel coverage.
- Write and maintain core component logic where accuracy, determinism, and auditability are critical.
- Review all pull requests that affect core logic, data access, or module boundaries to ensure quality and consistency.
- Identify and resolve technical or architectural issues that block progress, providing clear solutions or direction when teams reach an impasse.
- Collaborate with leadership as the senior technical authority, ensuring that decisions with significant business or system implications are properly escalated.
The Technical Stack
- Backend: Python 3.12, FastAPI, async SQLAlchemy 2.0, Alembic migrations.
- Database: Azure Database for PostgreSQL — HIPAA-eligible, zone-redundant, row-level security enforced at both application and database layers.
- Infrastructure: Azure Container Apps (dev / staging / prod), Azure Service Bus for async job processing, Azure DevOps CI/CD, Azure Blob Storage.
- Frontend: React 18 / Vite SPA for the internal application; Next.js for the external client portal.
- AI and OCR: Anthropic Claude via Azure AI Foundry for document extraction; Azure Document Intelligence for OCR processing.
- Quality: pytest, Ruff linting, automated module boundary enforcement in CI.
Experience and Qualifications
- 7–10 years of fullstack engineering experience, including meaningful time as the most senior engineer on a team.
- Deep handson proficiency with Python and PostgreSQL in production environments.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous patterns, databaselevel security, and disciplined migration management.
- Fullstack capability — able to review React pull requests and identify issues in both structure and data exposure.
- Experience working in regulated or highintegrity environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, or PCI) and understanding the importance of audit trails and access controls.
- Familiarity with modern development workflows that use AIassisted tools like Cursor and Claude Code to maintain high quality at a fast pace.
