Full Stack Engineer

Job Title - Full Stack Developer (React.js + Node.js)

Location: Remote

Engagement Type: Full Time

Work Roster: 10AM-6PM AEST

Weekends: Saturday & Sunday

About the Role

We are looking for a highly execution-focused Full Stack Developer who can build and ship scalable web applications in a fast-moving startup environment. The ideal candidate should be strong in both frontend and backend development, comfortable with AI-assisted coding workflows, and capable of taking ownership of features from idea to deployment.

This role is best suited for developers who enjoy building products, solving real-world problems, and working in a remote-first, high-accountability culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable frontend applications using React.js and Next.js
• Build backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js
• Integrate databases, authentication systems, and third-party APIs
• Work with Supabase/Postgres for data modeling and management
• Implement Stripe payment flows and webhook integrations
• Improve performance and scalability using Redis and caching strategies
• Deploy and maintain applications on Vercel/cloud platforms
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for critical application workflows, APIs, and end-to-end scenarios where required.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams
• Use AI coding tools to improve development speed and efficiency
• Participate in debugging, optimization, code reviews, and architecture discussions
• Take ownership of features from planning to production release

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and Node.js
• Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Experience in designing and developing AI agents using modern LLM SDKs such as OpenAI, Claude, or Vercel AI SDK, including orchestration of tool-calling, prompt workflows, and multi-step reasoning systems.
• Experience with test automation, including UI, API, regression, or end-to-end testing will have an edge.
• Knowledge of SQL/Postgres databases
• Experience with GitHub workflows and version control
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in remote environments
• Good communication and ownership mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with test automation, including UI, API, regression, or end-to-end testing.
• Experience with Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, and Redis
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar.
• Startup or product company experience
• Exposure to AI-assisted development workflows
• Familiarity with Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
• Experience shipping SaaS applications
• Understanding of scalable architecture and deployment practices
