Job Description
Build. Ship. Scale. Own What You Create.
Ready to turn great ideas into software that makes a real impact
We're looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, building scalable applications, and seeing their work come to life in production.
Our client is building cloud-based applications that require strong engineering, thoughtful architecture, and continuous improvement. In this role, you'll work across the entire technology stack—from intuitive frontend experiences to backend services, APIs, and AWS infrastructure.
You won't just write code. You'll take ownership, shape solutions, and help build what comes next.
What You'll Do
- Build end-to-end features: Develop and maintain applications across the frontend, backend, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Work with modern technologies: Build scalable solutions using Node.js, NestJS, React, and Next.js.
- Engineer for the cloud: Deploy, manage, and optimize applications and services on AWS.
- Design reliable systems: Build and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, databases, and event-driven services.
- Write code that lasts: Create clean, maintainable, well-tested software that performs reliably at scale.
- Own the full lifecycle: Take features from requirements and technical design through development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Keep systems running smoothly: Troubleshoot production issues, monitor performance, and improve reliability and observability.
- Improve how software ships: Work with Docker, Linux, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices.
- Collaborate and innovate: Partner with engineers and technical teams, document solutions, and share knowledge.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of software development experience, ideally building and supporting cloud-based applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and NestJS.
- Practical experience with React and Next.js.
- Production experience with AWS, including deployment, troubleshooting, and cloud application maintenance.
- Experience with Docker, Linux, and Git.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience designing and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Understanding of software testing, CI/CD, and automated deployment practices.
- Familiarity with application monitoring, logging, metrics, and observability.
- Knowledge of service-oriented and event-driven architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to code quality and detail.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a technical team.
- A strong ownership mindset—you take responsibility for your work and follow through from concept to production.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to have: Experience with Fluxscape.
Why This Role Matters
Your code will do more than work. It will move the product forward.
This is an opportunity to contribute beyond individual tickets and tasks. You'll help shape technical solutions, solve meaningful engineering challenges, improve existing systems, and bring new capabilities into production.
You'll have the opportunity to work across the stack, deepen your cloud engineering expertise, and make decisions that influence how applications are built, deployed, and improved.
If you're someone who takes initiative, enjoys tackling challenging problems, and wants to see the real-world impact of your work, this could be your next opportunity.
