Job Description

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will design, build, and deliver end-to-end product features across frontend and backend systems that support patients and healthcare providers. Your work will directly influence product innovation, user experience, and healthcare outcomes while offering a long-term global career with Emapta in a top 1% environment built for top 1% talent.

Shift: Night Shift | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST (flexible by one to two hours) | Consecutive Off

Work setup: Onsite, Makati

The Qualifications We Seek

• 3-5+ years of full stack software engineering experience
• Comfortable solving ambiguous problems and shaping solutions from loosely defined requirements
• Strong product intuition, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
• Experience collaborating with product and design teams, including contributing to product decisions
• Strong proficiency in React (web) and React Native (mobile)
• Experience with typed backend languages, REST APIs, and Go is a plus
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB or SQL databases
• Solid software engineering fundamentals with systems design exposure
• Experience debugging production issues across frontend and backend systems
• Strong communication, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork skills
• High attention to detail with a strong eye for polished UI and design quality
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms, including basic DevOps tasks
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and AI development tools (e.g., Claude)
• Ability to perform technical code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Willingness to support teammates across the organization
• Nice to have: experience with real-time systems (WebRTC, WebSockets, Firebase), testing, security best practices/HIPAA, and Figma or design systems

Your Daily Tasks

• Develop and ship new product features across frontend and backend
• Participate in product discussions and requirement refinement
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Debug issues in production and staging environments
• Conduct code reviews and collaborate with other engineers
• Monitor system performance and logs
• Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar)
• Collaborate with design teams on UI/UX improvements
• Support DevOps-related tasks, including deployments and CI/CD updates
