We're currently looking for Fullstack Developer to build and support modern web applications across multiple codebases. You'll collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements, solve problems, and deliver high-quality solutions including custom UI components (Angular/React) and REST-based APIs (Java). You'll also help maintain shared component libraries and build new features from scratch.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver and support software solutions for aligned internal business divisions, contributing to design, development, configuration, testing, and BAU support
- Work using organisational delivery methodologies, with a focus on consistent and repeatable processes supported by automation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Build scalable front-end and back-end solutions using modern technologies and patterns
- Develop and maintain shared UI libraries and reusable components, and work across multiple codebases
- Prepare non-production environments (configuration, test data, application setup) to support project and BAU delivery
- Manage and support deployments, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production
- Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing to meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Ensure changes and releases are planned, documented, and aligned to ITIL change management
- Review and apply patches/upgrades for supported applications
- Resolve production incidents, service requests, and operational tasks for supported systems
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement optimisations to improve performance, quality, and delivery efficiency
What you'll bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science (or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience
- Strong front-end experience with Angular (12+) and React, plus exposure to jQuery
- Solid skills in HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and building responsive, accessible UIs
- Advanced knowledge of ES6+ and TypeScript
- Experience building SPAs using Angular architecture, RxJS, Angular CLI
- Strong understanding of OO principles, design patterns, and modern frameworks
- Proven experience with cross-browser and cross-device responsive development
- Dependency/build optimisation using npm (or similar tooling)
- Authentication experience integrating SSO / OAuth flows
- Back-end experience designing and implementing REST APIs in Java (Spring or Quarkus)
- Strong API discipline using OpenAPI specifications
- Comfortable with git and branching strategies
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release practices
