Full Stack Developer (Ruby on Rails)

used dealerships, where we provide management systems, payment services, communications tools, scheduling modules as well as accounting and finance packages. We operate in a high-growth, high-performance environment.

The Shop-Ware team is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Developer to

join them. The team develops modern Shop Management Software that provides not only transformational shop management tools, but also transparent customer-facing communications. The result Increased efficiency, enhanced profitability, and second to none customer service for each of our customers.

What will you work on

• Build and rapidly iterate on full stack application features, using highly customized API and integrations, in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript
• Contribute architectural vision and execution
• Continually help improve development practices to deliver highly available software
• What skills and experience are we looking for
• Thorough knowledge of Ruby on Rails: the framework, pros and cons, how to effectively organize code, and how to write efficient and understandable code
• Ruby on Rails 6, HTML, CSS, and React
• JavaScript; we have a lot of client-side code!
• Relational DB (Postgres, MySQL, SQL) engines
• Backbone.js a plus!

Are there any other requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience suggested
• Fully remote position, but must be able to work within the PST time zone
• Provide non-proprietary and non-confidential sample(s) of your work if possible
