Job Description
The Full-Stack Developer Cadet is a 6-month paid position designed to launch careers in tech. This is a structured training program where you'll learn professional full-stack development while contributing to real products. You'll work alongside experienced engineers who will mentor you, provide feedback, and help you grow from foundational knowledge to production-ready capability. If you perform well and demonstrate readiness, you'll transition to a permanent Junior Full-Stack Developer role with full-time salary and benefits.
This is not a temporary internship. This is a paid stepping stone to permanent employment.
What You'll DoAs a Full-Stack Developer Cadet, you'll work on real production code under the guidance of our senior developers. Your day-to-day work includes:
- Writing Code: Contribute to front-end and back-end features with support from your team. You'll write real code that goes into production.
- Learning on the Job: Work with modern full-stack technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, databases, APIs, etc.) while your team teaches you best practices.
- Debugging and Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot issues with guidance from experienced developers who help you learn the process.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to learn professional standards and get constructive feedback on your work.
- Collaboration: Work with developers, designers, and product teams to understand requirements and ship features together.
- Building Skills: Gradually take on more complex tasks as your confidence and expertise grow over the 6 months.
You'll be embedded in our development team. Your immediate technical leads will be your mentors, providing day-to-day guidance, code review feedback, and support as you learn. You're not working alone, and you're not expected to know everything from day one.

- Increase independence while still having support
- Demonstrate growing technical understanding
Months 5-6: Demonstrating readiness
- Handle more complex tasks independently
- Mentor and learn from team feedback
- Prepare for the conversion evaluation
After 6 months, we evaluate your readiness for a permanent Junior Full-Stack Developer role. We assess:
- Technical Growth: Have you developed your coding skills and understanding
- Reliability: Do you consistently complete your work and follow through
- Collaboration: Do you work well with the team and communicate effectively
- Professionalism: Are you accountable and committed to improvement
- Independence: Can you handle typical tasks without constant supervision

This cadetship is paid, structured employment designed to lead to permanent employment if you're ready. It's not temporary or transactional.
Required Background- Basic coding fundamentals in at least one language (JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, etc.)
- Understanding of how code works (variables, functions, loops, basic logic)
- Genuine interest in becoming a full-stack developer
- Willingness to learn on the job and take feedback
You don't need to be experienced. You just need the fundamentals and the commitment to learn.
Technical Requirements- Computer (Windows, macOS, or Linux) with at least 8GB RAM
- Stable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps)
- Ability to work on-site in Davao City minimum 2 days/week
- Availability during core hours: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Davao Time)
