Frontend Developer

General Description

As a Software Engineer, you will play a fundamental role in advancing our set of bespoke software

solutions. Your role will involve hands-on development and production support, and collaboration with a team dedicated to improving application quality, efficiency, and scalability. You will leverage your technical expertise to enhance our engineering standards and processes, ensuring the delivery of high quality software solutions that meet our strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications to functional and technical development standards.

• Support and enhance all delivered solutions.

• Drive quality in deliverables and technical excellence across our development approach.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to define

specifications and deliver software solutions that align with business goals.

• Contribute to the architecture and design of new and existing components of large-scale systems.

• Write and review code to maintain high standards for readability, efficiency, and reusability.

• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding

standards.

• Address technical challenges proactively, identifying potential issues and proposing effective

solutions.

• Investigate and incorporate new technologies and tools that enhance development efficiency and

improve product quality.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of

applications.

• Contribute to the software development lifecycle by participating in sprint planning, estimation,

and retrospectives.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive

innovation within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a

related field.

• At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in software development.

• Strong proficiency in frontend development, with hands-on experience in Angular (preferred) or

React / React Native.

• Solid understanding of modern web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and

TypeScript along with frameworks such as Bootstrap 5 and Progressive Web Apps (PWA).

• Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.

• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.

• Demonstrated backend development experience using technologies such as Node.js, Java, Spring

Boot, and PostgreSQL.

Job Description – Software Engineer

• Experience implementing security best practices, including Spring Security and OAuth 2.1 for

authentication and authorization.

• Knowledge of web security best practices, including OWASP guidelines and common

vulnerabilities such as XSS.

• Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs, with proficiency in testing and

documentation tools such as Postman and Swagger.

• Familiarity with ASP.NET and other web application frameworks is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and their role in modern

application deployment.

• Solid understanding of application lifecycle management and CI/CD practices, preferably with

Azure DevOps.

• Proven experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment, including participation in

standard Agile ceremonies.

• Ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable and maintainable software solutions, and

actively contribute to architectural discussions.

• Strong foundation in software engineering principles, including data structures, algorithms, and

design patterns.

• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented

environment
