Front-end BI Developer (SAP BI and Power BI)

Job Description:

The Front-End BI Developer will help in the enhancement of the client's existing reports. shall design, build, and implement extraction, transformation, and loading data pipelines. Key duties include data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting. Implementation of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data integration concepts. Gather and analyze reporting requirements, business rules, calculations, and technical specifications. Coordinating with business users, Business Analysts, and client O&M teams. Documenting report specifications, formulas, and data mappings. Participate in UAT support, deployment, and production issue resolution. Manage multiple report development activities and deliverables concurrently.

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

·      Proven experience in SAP BusinessObjects (WebI, Universe/IDT) and Power BI report and dashboard development.

·      Proficient in Power BI Data Modeling, DAX, Power Query, and data visualization.

·      Strong SQL scripting and database querying skills.

·      With basic knowledge of SQL scripting

·      With technical writing for documentation

·      Able to write summaries

·      With knowledge on Systems Development Life Cycle SLDC

·      Able to translate business requirements into a technical one

·      Able to discuss technical issues and related inquiries to business users in laymans terms

·      With basic knowledge in data warehouse design

·      With abilities to take initiative

·      With data analysis skills

·      Able to debug/troubleshoot errors

·      With experience in SAP BOBJ Reporting tools such as Web Intelligence, Dashboarddesigner and Universe Designer and Power BI

·      With basic knowledge in database access/queries

·      Able to communicate clearly and effectively with the business users

·      With basic knowledge in Data warehouse concept
