Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Front Desk Officer role based in Makati. The Front Desk Officer will welcome and assist guests upon arrival, manage check-in and check-out procedures, and ensure accurate handling of reservations, payments, and guest records. The role includes responding to guest inquiries in person, by phone, and via email, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments to address requests, and resolving concerns promptly and professionally. The Front Desk Officer will also handle receptionist duties such as answering calls, managing messages, and maintaining a tidy, organized front desk area. The position requires adherence to Seda's service standards, including upholding safety, security, and confidentiality protocols at all times.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and guest relations skills, with the ability to deliver personalized and anticipatory service while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and cultural sensitivity in a luxury hospitality environment.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a luxury hotel, serviced residence, or equivalent high-end customer service environment is required.
  • Proven experience in front desk operations, including efficient handling of check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, guest inquiries, and concern resolution with a high level of service excellence.
  • Proficient in office administration and front office operations, including the use of telephones, printers, reservation systems, and maintaining accurate and organized records.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Filipino and additional languages is an advantage for servicing diverse international guests.
  • Strong ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, with excellent time management, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with hotel Property Management Systems, particularly Opera Cloud is a strong advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Tourism, Business, or a related field.
