Your Role:
Following up with/ drivers on the front end of pickups, in-transit status updates & checking on deliveries with status updates and notes added at every step.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- Freight logistics experience (truckloads & partial truckloads)
- Strong communication skills with dispatchers and truck drivers
- Ability to follow up with drivers on front-end pickup coordination
- Monitoring and updating in-transit statuses in real time
- Tracking deliveries and documenting status updates at each step
- Attention to detail for accurate notes and timely updates
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Problem-solving skills to handle delays, route issues, or exceptions
- Basic proficiency with logistics/tracking systems or TMS software
Preferred skills/expertise:
- Experience with load boards, TMS platforms, or carrier portals
- Familiarity with appointment scheduling for pickups/deliveries
- Experience coordinating multi-stop loads
- Ability to build strong carrier relationships
- Prior experience in a 3PL (third-party logistics) environment
- Data entry accuracy and documentation best practices
