Freight Billing Analyst.

What You Will Be Doing
The
Freight Billing Analyst will monitor and follow-up on KPIs, maintain and ensure service excellence internally and externally by delivering high quality standards of efficiency and quality, expressing outstanding results by being the best-in-class. The Analyst has a deep understanding of Freight and Rebill Billing Process to drive process improvements and innovations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue accurate and timely Freight and Rebill invoices in accordance with Contract of Affreightment (CoA) and Charter Party (CP) terms and conditions.
- Monitor vessel, port, and cargo schedules and coordinate with the Tanker Trading team to ensure timely invoicing and resolution of customer disputes or issues.
- Maintain accurate administration of freight-related data, monitoring logs, monthly reports, and ensure voyage bunker estimates are properly removed after invoice finalization per SWI.
- Support audit requirements, ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, internal controls, company policies, and maintain audit-worthiness of assigned accounts and reports.
- Provide operational support to Tanker Trading, including reporting, documentation, troubleshooting of financial and operational issues, process training, and back-up support within the team.
- Drive process improvements, knowledge sharing, and participate in projects or additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Manager to improve systems and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
- Knowledgeable in Finance.
- Experience in shipping would be advantageous.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to details.
- Able to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in order to meet established deadlines.
- Capable of working in an international environment.
- Able to effectively manage Customer Service Inquiries and concerns.
