Role Description The Freight & Logistics Transformation Sr. Specialist/Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Calabarzon, Philippines. This role leads and supports transformation initiatives across freight and logistics operations, focusing on process optimization, cost efficiency, and service quality improvement. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing current workflows, identifying improvement opportunities, designing and documenting new processes, and coordinating implementation with cross-functional teams. The role involves managing projects, tracking performance metrics, preparing reports and presentations, and engaging stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. The Sr. Specialist/Manager also helps drive change management, trains operational teams on new practices, and ensures compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in freight, logistics, and supply chain operations, including experience with transportation, warehousing, and network optimization.
  • Strong skills in process analysis and improvement, with experience in designing workflows, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using tools such as Excel, BI platforms, or similar, and the ability to interpret KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities, including planning, stakeholder coordination, timeline management, and risk mitigation.
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
  • Experience in change management, including training, coaching, and supporting teams through operational transformations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., APICS, PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain environment, preferably within a multinational organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to identifying and implementing solutions.
  • Ability to work on-site in Calabarzon, Philippines, with flexibility to collaborate across multiple sites and time zones as needed.
