Role Summary
Responsible for reviewing, validating, and ensuring the quality of educational content assets aligned with dentistry textbooks. The role focuses on maintaining content accuracy, instructional integrity, and compliance with accessibility and publishing standards.
This position plays a critical role in supporting high-quality learning materials through content revision, validation, and quality assurance processes.
Core Responsibilities
1. Content Revision
- Review and revise educational materials, including:
- PowerPoint presentations
- Test banks
- Study guides and workbooks
- Other ancillary educational resources
- Update content to ensure alignment with the latest dentistry textbook editions
- Preserve original instructional intent while making necessary corrections or improvements
2. Content Validation
- Cross-check all materials against corresponding dentistry textbook chapters
- Verify accuracy of:
- Test questions and answer keys
- Rationales and supporting explanations
- Identify and correct:
- Inconsistencies and inaccuracies
- Outdated clinical or academic information
- Missing or incorrect references
3. Accessibility & Quality Compliance
- Edit and format files to meet accessibility standards and publishing guidelines
- Improve content structure, readability, and usability for learners and instructors
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks prior to submission to ensure compliance with project requirements
Additional Responsibilities
- Document revisions and maintain version control of all edited materials
- Collaborate with project leads to clarify content-related questions
- Ensure timely completion of deliverables while meeting quality standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Dentistry (Required)
- Strong background in clinical dentistry, dental education, or academic instruction
- Proven experience in editing, reviewing, or developing educational or dental/medical content
- Excellent command of written English and academic writing standards
- High attention to detail with strong proofreading and quality assurance skills
- Ability to interpret and align content with academic textbooks and clinical dental references
- Familiarity with test bank development, instructional design, or curriculum materials is an advantage
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and publishing guidelines is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables
