About the Job

Deepgram Philippines is expanding its Philippine language coverage and is looking for freelance data labelers fluent in Hiligaynon (Ilonggo), or Kapampangan. You'll review, transcribe, and label speech data used to train voice AI models, following defined guidelines with a high standard of accuracy and consistency.

As AI takes on more of the routine work, your judgment matters most: catching what the model gets wrong, understanding context, and deciding what was actually said.

This is a remote freelance role with a recurring weekly workload: consistent output and quality targets every week, not occasional or ad-hoc tasks. You can choose when you work during the week, but plan for steady weekly hours. Labeling takes much longer than the length of the audio, so this isn't quick fill-in work.

What You'll Do

• Transcribe, label, and annotate speech data in your language following project guidelines
• Review AI-generated transcripts and correct errors, using context to make the right call
• Start with Pass 1 (transcription and labeling) during onboarding, with Pass 2 (review) added as you progress
• Follow standard operating procedures, style guides, and project instructions
• Keep your output consistent through the week and meet assigned deadlines

It's Important to Us That You Have

• Native or near-native fluency in Hiligaynon, or Kapampangan
• Strong English reading and listening comprehension
• Sharp attention to detail and good judgment when audio or context is unclear
• Ability to follow structured guidelines consistently
• Reliability and responsiveness when completing assigned tasks
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Nice to Have

• Experience in transcription, captioning, translation, or data annotation
• Familiarity with more than one Philippine language
